On Saturday, April 5, former Avonworth High School standout Mason Horwat’s current college team, the Penn State Nittany Lions, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Nittany Lions’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Siebert Field against Minnesota Golden Gophers.
