On Thursday, May 15, former Avonworth High School standout Rylee Gray’s current collegiate team the Francis Marion Patriots lost 4-5 against the North Georgia Nighthawks in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the North Georgia Nighthawks in the tournament.

The Francis Marion Patriots’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 1 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium.
