On Sunday, April 6, former Highlands Senior High School standout Jett Slepak’s current college team, the Akron Zips, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Toledo Rockets.

The game took place at Scott Park Baseball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Rockets this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 4 p.m. at Ray Fisher Baseball Stadium against Michigan Wolverines.
