On Friday, April 11, former Highlands Senior High School standout Jett Slepak’s current college team, the Akron Zips, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Skeeles Field. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Skeeles Field against Central Michigan Chippewas.
