On Friday, March 21, former Highlands Senior High School standout Jett Slepak’s current college team, the Akron Zips, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Michigan Broncos.

The game took place at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field. This was their first matchup against the Broncos this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1:05 p.m. at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field against Western Michigan Broncos.
