On Tuesday, April 8, former Avonworth High School standout Rylee Gray’s current college team, the Francis Marion Patriots, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Chowan Hawks.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium against Mount Olive Trojans.
