On Tuesday, March 18, former North Hills Senior High School standout Abigail Scheller’s current college team, the Akron Zips, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons.

The game took place at Purdue Fort Wayne Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Mastodons this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 1 p.m. at Margo Jonker Stadium against Central Michigan Chippewas.
