On Saturday, March 15, former Shaler Area High School standout Ellie Facher’s current college team, the Kent State Golden Flashes, lost 14-9 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Miami RedHawks.

The game took place at Judith K. Devine Diamond. This was their third matchup against the RedHawks this season.

The Golden Flashes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Meserve Field against Bowling Green Falcons.
