The University of Pittsburgh has been recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of America’s Best Employers for Women 2022.
An independent survey conducted by Statista queried 30,000 women and 20,000 men working for companies with at least 1,000 employees. Participants were asked questions regarding their organization’s status on working conditions, diversity and if they would recommend the employer to others. Female respondents were also asked to rate factors such as parental leave, discrimination and pay equity.
“At Pitt, progress is always in progress,” said James Gallaher, vice chancellor of human resources. “We are grateful for this recognition, and are committed to continuing to improve our workplace for women and all employees.”
