Three Pitt regional campuses were recognized for providing quality education at an affordable price by the magazine Washington Monthly.
The magazine’s Best Bang for the Buck College rankings scored 1,507 schools nationally on three measures: social mobility, research and community and national service.
All three regional campuses included in the report saw a rise in ranking from last year.
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, with the largest leap in rank, went from No. 107 to No. 31.
The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg rose from No.277 to No. 227.
The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown jumped from No.135 to No. 96.
Of the ten years Washington Monthly has released its list, this year marks the 7th appearance by Pitt-Bradford and the 8th time Pitt-Greensburg and Pitt-Johnstown were included.
