Congratulations to Kerr Elementary first-grade student Leslie Thompson and Kerr fifth-grader Patrick Flaherty, who attended the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Ottawa Senators game on Monday night at PPG Paints Arena after winning a set of tickets in a schoolwide raffle.
The tickets were donated by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) to local schools that use a schoolwide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program in their buildings.
All Kerr students were entered into the raffle, and students who were observed demonstrating respect and/or kindness were given extra tickets to enter the drawing.
