On Tuesday, April 1, former Highlands Senior High School standout Jett Slepak’s current college team, the Akron Zips, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Dayton Flyers.

The game took place at Woerner Field. This was their second matchup against the Flyers this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Scott Park Baseball Complex against Toledo Rockets.
