Flagstaff/canon at Mt. Royal Cemetery
Due to the ongoing Pandemic, a process of obtaining agreements and participation of other groups such as the Shaler Area Intermediate School Band, speakers, etc. is just beginning. Therefore, it has not yet been determined if the service can be a Shaler Township function open to all residents and guests, or a function such as what was conducted the prior two years with just participation of the members of Post 785 and Post 9199. A notice will be posted throughout the Township prior to Memorial Day weekend if a ceremony open to the public will be conducted.
