Rep. Rob Mercuri announced that Richland Township will receive $145,500 from the Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2). The funds are designated for acquiring approximately 7.9 acres of land to expand Richland Community Park.

Mercuri stated, “Richland Community Park has been a long-standing asset to our community. This investment into the park provides continued growth and safety for our children and community in an environmentally enriching manner.”

The C2P2 program is managed by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Bureau of Recreation and Conservation. It offers financial and technical support to local governments, river and trail organizations, land trusts, and other nonprofits for projects related to parks, recreation, conservation, and greenways.

For more information about the C2P2 program, interested parties can contact Representative Robert Mercuri from Pennsylvania's 28th Legislative District or reach out to media contact Tim Craine at 717-609-7331 or tcraine@pahousegop.com.
