Shaler Township recently issued the following announcement.
Call County Hauling at 724-929-7694 Ext. 2 or e-mail to info@countyhauling.com by Wednesday at 3:00 PM before the pickup date to schedule yard waste collection. Please specify what type of service you are requesting when sending by e-mail. Please notify the customer service representative that you are a resident of Shaler Township and would like to schedule a yard waste collection.
- Yard waste includes leaves, garden residue, shrubbery with no dirt attached, limbs, twigs, brush, tree trimmings, and similar items, but does not include grass clippings or mulch.
- Yard waste must be placed in a bio-degradable paper bag. Tree trimmings are not to exceed 3 inches in diameter. Brush, limbs, twigs and shrubbery must be bundled in lengths not to exceed 4 feet and 1 foot total diameter.
